I love costumes! I put together this Fionna costume (from Adventure Time) for Austin Public Library’s YomiCon 2013. YomiCon is a convention for Austin kids and teens to celebrate all things anime, manga, and much, much more. I sewed the backpack myself but bought the hat online.

Here’s me playing King Henry VI out at Winedale in 2011. I played the sad king in parts 2 and 3 that summer. Part of the Winedale experience is letting the students create and collaborate as much as possible. I sewed that cape with assistance from our seamstress extraordinaire. A few of my classmates orchestrated the snowfall from the rafters of the barn.
